The PS5 is back in stock in the US, although chances are not for very long.

In the latest PS5 stock update, PlayStation Direct and Amazon US have both refreshed their inventory on December 11. It looks like Amazon may have sold out already, but the PlayStation Direct website is worth re-checking again, as it seems to be updated regularly.

Back in the UK, individual GAME stores have posted multiple stock updates for PS5 accessories.

Multiple stores have DualSense controllers, media remotes, PS5 cameras and even Pulse 3D Headsets,

Other stores have confirmed that previously ordered PS5 consoles are being shipped to customers in the UK.

“Those who ordered the PS5 from @SmythsToysUK should have had their expense taken out their bank account yesterday, with an email stating their orders are ready for dispatch today,” reads a customer tweet. “Not sure if that means it’ll arrive today or over the next few days.”

Likewise, ShopTo is also emailing customers telling them that shipments are on the way.

“Congratulations, we just packed your item(s) and everything is ready to be dispatched to you soon,” reads a ShopTo email to customers.

“Our dispatch of orders is on every working day up until 5.20pm (5.00pm for TNT / DPD) . We do not dispatch orders over the weekend or during public holidays.

“There is an exception to this rule as however during busy periods (such as Christmas) we may dispatch on a Saturday.”

This means customers should get their PlayStation 5 orders over the weekend, or possibly early next week.

Unfortunately, some UK stores like Argos have confirmed that the PS5 won’t be back in stock in 2020.

A message posted on the Argos PS5 website reads: “Sorry, PlayStation 5 is currently unavailable. We will not have any further stock for the rest of 2020.”

A sales representative on Twitter has also confirmed that there will be no further stock options in 2020, after a fan was left unable to complete a purchase.

“We are out of stock of the PS5; we are expecting more early 2021. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment you have been caused,” the message from Argos support adds.
