The new KFC console has been revealed, and the fast-food company has jokingly revealed that the likes of the PS5 and Xbox Series X face real competition.

The new gaming console has been described as a high-end machine which comes with one massive difference.

Unlike anything else on the market, the KFC Console comes with a built-in chicken chamber.

This new design helps to keep whatever you stick in it; they probably want you to use chicken, warm while you play video games.

It sounds like a high-end PC that uses components from top brands like Intel, Asus, and Seagate. And KFC made the reveal on Twiter alongside a new trailer for the machine and the caption: “The console wars are over. Introducing the KFConsole.”

The Cooler Master website suggests that the KFC Console can run games at 4K Resolution and at up to 240fps.

This would put it above the PS5 and Xbox Series X, which wouldn’t be that surprising as we don’t know how much this will cost.

The Cooler Master website adds: “Discover a level of gameplay you didn’t know possible with Asus-powered graphics that runs buttery smooth, keeping tearing and frame drop a thing of the past. With a first-of-its-kind hot-swappable GPU slot, the KFC console will stay the most powerful console for generations to come.

“Unleash the performance of PCIe NVMe speeds that are 6× faster. Boot games up in seconds and instantly access data while loading games.

“We’ve taken your data to the next level of performance, reliability, and efficiency with two Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSD.”

The KFC Console release date has not been shared, and we don’t what the price will be for such a machine.

Commenting on the current rivalry between the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Mark Cheevers, PR & Social Media Lead at KFC UK & Ireland added this:

“Moving forward from our initial teaser campaign earlier this year, we’re so pleased to finally give the fans exactly what they wanted; making the KFConsole a reality.

“This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gamin experience… what’s not to like?

“If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they’d be welcome to get in touch.”

“When we were approached by KFC Gaming to make the KFConsole, we jumped at the chance to get involved and enter the console war,” said Stephen James, Global PR & Influencer Manager at Cooler Master.

“The KFC console has been custom built with the gamer at the front of mind. The last thing we want is anyone to go hungry while playing!”

Expect more news from KFC and Cooler Master in the coming weeks regarding when this new console will be available buy, or collect from an upcoming event.
