Fortnite fans are working their way through a new batch of weekly challenges.

The Week 5 challenges are available to Battle Pass owners on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android and PC.

Weekly challenges are the easiest and most entertaining way to earn XP and level up the Battle Pass.

Each time you level up the Battle Pass you’ll earn a new reward, which include skins, harvesting tools, emotes, sprays and even V-bucks.

The Week 5 challenges are better than usual, tasking players with everything from dealing damage while crouching, to digging up blue XP coins.

Another challenge tasks players with dealing damage within ten seconds of re-surfacing from sand, which means you’ll need to spend some time near the Zero Point location.

There are also lots of challenges involving Gnomes. You’ll need to collect Gnomes, dig up Gnomes and even bury Gnomes to earn XP.

This challenge may take some time, but it’s not actually that difficult, especially if you know where to look.

First up, you’ll need to dig up Gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park. Hit play on the video below for a look at how to complete this challenge.

While you’re at Fort Crumpet – which is in the north-west of the map – you can also collect Gnomes.

You’ll need to collect four Gnomes in total, although thankfully not in the same match. You can see the location of the Gnomes in the first video below.

Another challenge tasks players with burying Gnomes in Pleasant Park or Retail Row.

Because you only need to bury two Gnomes in total, you can complete this mission in one match by visiting Pleasant Park.

Just look out for the mounds of dirt in the area. Once you’ve arrived at a mound, the game will prompt you to bury a Gnome.
