A new current-gen update has been released, with fans now waiting for official news regarding NBA 2K21 version 1.07.

While patch notes aren’t always provided by the Visual Concepts team, gamers are expecting something this week.

Today’s NBA 2K21 update reportedly weighs in at around 20GB, making it one of the larger releases, and the first major one for 2021.

It should also be noted that for now, we have only seen news regarding last-gen platforms, meaning PS5 and Xbox Series X updates will be released in the coming days.

As noted above, no patch notes have been shared yet for today’s NBA 2K21 update on last-gen consoles.

But fans on Reddit have been sharing what they have noticed so far and includes changes for player updates.

One user reports: “Just checked. Players that have been updated: – Beal – Simmons – Richaun Holmes – Draymond – Alex Smaigalic – Kemba – Derozan – Pandemic P (not with the braids) – Whiteside – Markieff Morris

“Mostly players that have scanned in next-gen was updated (except for the rookies and Naz Reid).

“Updated Courts: – Hawks – Blazers – Mavs – Hornets – Raptors – Suns – Cavs – Thunder.

“They added the Hornets and the Heat city courts but I don’t know why they didn’t add the others.”

More news could be shared by the NBA 2K21 development team in the coming hours, or later this week.

The last reported NBA 2K21 update for PS4 and Xbox One was released at the start of the December and only included a short list of changes.

These included:

General

  • Winter holiday has arrived at 2K Beach with new seasonal decorations and themed courts now available.

MyCAREER

  • MyCOURT’s Limitless free throw drill is now set to use the 2K camera setting.

MyTEAM

  • Added Online VS, the difficulty used in MyTEAM Unlimited & Limited, to Play With Friends games.

So fans can expect some bigger news to be shared this week via the latest NBA 2K21 patch notes.
