The Steam Autumn Sale won’t be the only place to check out big PC deals this week, with the Epic Games Store Black Friday event coming soon.

While Valve never provides much in the way of teasers for its upcoming sales, Epic Games is happy to share news prior to things kicking off.

Recent reports suggest that the Steam Autumn Sale will be kicking off later today, November 25, at around 10am PT.

Like past events, there will likely be themed content and major discounts on leading game franchises.

This is expected to last around a week and will be followed by a Winter Sale later in 2020.

Meanwhile, the Epic Games Store Black Friday Sale has a confirmed release date and start time.

According to the Fortnite creators, the Epic Black Friday Sale will start on Thursday, November 26, the day after the Steam Sale begins.

Gamers will have the chance to check out all the best discounts from 11am ET, or 4am GMT, if you live in the United States.

Plenty of new game deals are being promised with Epic Games telling fans this week: “Do you like video games? If you answered “no” to that question, we’re honestly not sure why you’re here, but hello there! If you answered “yes”, then boy do we have good news for you:

“We’ll have video games ON SALE very soon! That’s right, the time for seasonal shopping is almost upon us, and what good is Black Friday without stellar savings? We’re not quite ready to reveal the deals – but c’mon, it’s two days away. You can wait.

“In the meantime, here’s a savvy cyber-shopping tip: wishlist any title on our store while logged in on the web or launcher, and you’ll receive a notification the next time that product goes on discount. Neat, right?

“Be sure to browse through the store, click that little heart to wishlist all your favourites, and don’t forget to snag those deals when they go live on November 26 (11:00 AM Eastern).”

Valve, on the other hand, don’t typically announce start dates and times for their next Steam sale but fans usually have a pretty good idea of when to expect the next big batch of bargains.

Steam users typically know when to get their wallets ready for the next big Steam sale thanks to leaks, or looking at release schedules for previous sales.

So far there haven’t been any leaks about the Steam Autumn sale, but it is expected to take place shortly.

From what has been found so far by fans, the Steam Autumn Sale should start later today at around 6pm GMT.

Last year, the Steam Autumn sale took place on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving – so this would be a slight change-up in scheduling.

We’ll have to keep an eye out and wait and see, but either way, it looks like the Steam Black Friday sale will be happening soon.

For those in the States, the start time for the Steam Black Friday sale will be 10am pacific time and 1pm eastern time.
