The final month of Autumn has arrived in Animal Crossing New Horizons, meaning new Fish and Bugs will be popping up on the hit Nintendo Switch game.

Things got pretty this week for Halloween, and that won’t be the only changes they would have spotted across their island.

Mushrooms are popping up for some players as part of the Fall update, but not everyone will see them straight away.

Getting Mushrooms in the Northern Hemisphere should start today and will be used as part of seasonal crafting ingredients.

Isabelle should have shared the news when you logged in, revealing that mushrooms can be found at the base of trees.

Four different kinds can be found and there are a lot of different DIY Recipes to discover when you find them all.

For now, we know that there are elegant, round, skinny and flat mushrooms, with a few other flora changes being prepared for later in the month.

Today should also see a change in what fish and bugs can be found in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

These are split up between the two different hemispheres and lucky for us, it’s pretty easy to keep track of what’s now available.
