Microsoft is doing their best to provide more Xbox Series X stock in 2021, and the best places to check are Currys, Argos, GAME, Very and Amazon.

The latest stock updates came a few days ago, with Xbox Series X consoles returning at GAME.co.uk.

Unfortunately, this latest event is now over for gamers hoping to grab an Xbox Series X.

However, UK gamers who are looking for an Xbox Series S are in luck, as there is still plenty of consoles that can be pre-ordered.

By heading over to GAME, you can check out all the different bundles and packages, although a singular console can also be selected.

It should be noted that this is a pre-order event, meaning the full release date for the stock has been set for later in January.

A message from GAME adds: “You will be charged up to 7 days before the release date.”

There is also an option to purchase the Xbox Series S via the All Access service, which means paying monthly over a period of time.

“In order to purchase Xbox All Access for the first time, you will be required to apply for a new credit agreement with our chosen finance provider, Klarna Bank AB, where a full credit search will be conducted. To apply, you must be a permanent UK resident, and be at least 18 years of age.

“Credit is subject to individual financial circumstances and borrowing history, terms and conditions apply.”

When it comes to the next Xbox Series X restock event in the UK, there has been no update suggesting when it might happen.

One piece of good news is that the Very site states that more Xbox Series X stock is “coming soon”.

Another site worth keeping track of is Box.co.uk, which uses a ballot system instead of first-come-first-served.

The most recent ballot happened on January 7, and while it’s now over, it gives everyone a chance at buying a new Xbox console.

Microsoft recently confirmed they’re are trying to release as many consoles as possible, with Xbox’s Phil Spencer telling Larry Hryb:

“It’s really just down to physics and engineering. We’re not holding them back. We’re building them as fast as we can.

“We have all of the assembly lines going. I was on the phone last week with Lisa Su at AMD, ‘How do we get more? How do we get more?’

“It’s something that we’re constantly working on, but it’s not just us. I think gaming had really come into its own in 2020.”

“When you look at the graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA, I mean there’s just a lot of interesting gaming right now.

“Console sales are just a sign of that. Game sales are a sign of that. Hardware is in short supply, but we’re working as hard as we can. The teams are incredibly dedicated. I appreciate people’s patience as we work to build more.”
