Sony started the year with a nice mix of games for PS Now, with more expected for February 2021.

Every month sees Sony select new titles for the streaming service, which can be added to the library or used to fill the holes left by those being removed.

Last month saw Days Gone replaced by the likes of The Crew 2, Surviving Mars and Frostpunk.

And gamers are hoping more PS4 first-party exclusives will be added this year and over the coming months.

Marvel’s Spider-Man was a big hit when it launched on PlayStation Now in 2020, and there are still plenty of first-party games that could be selected.

As mentioned above, Hitman 2 will be leaving PlayStation Now at the start of February, along with indie-hit, Dead Cells.

Sony is expected to announce their replacements next week, alongside additional titles.

At least one of these will be an indie game, and it will be up to Sony how many games are added to the service during 2021.

PS Now is a streaming-only service, so none of these games will need to be downloaded and installed onto your console.

It should also be noted that PS Now can also be accessed via a PC by simply downloading the official app and having a compatible controller to hand.

When it comes to the final PS Now games announcement for December, Sony is expected to make the reveal on Tuesday, February 2.

Sony could also choose to share the information earlier than usual, depending on if there are any scheduling changes for 2021.

The only downside to these new games being added is that at least one PS4 game will be removed from the PlayStation Now service on the same day.

This gives gamers a short period to stream the title before it disappears and is replaced by something new.

For now, we know that Hitman 2 and Dead Cells will be leaving the PlayStation Now service on February 1, 2020.
