As you might imagine, a number of these channels are advert-supported, so there will be some commercial breaks. But if you’re short of things to watch and don’t fancy stumping up for a Netflix subscription, this could be a great alternative for Samsung Smart TV owners.
Alongside these new channels, there’s also an update to the on-screen look with the addition of a newly introduced ‘overlay bar’. Samsung says this updated design provides viewers with a brief summary of their most recently viewed channels, as well as top recommendations tailored to their viewing preferences.
From here, with a simple click, users can then gain quick and easy access to the Home Page and Channel Page. There’s even a ‘Continue Watching’ feature which allows viewers to jump back into the shows they’ve yet to finish.
