Sky Q boxes nationwide have been updated with the arrival of a new streaming app, Tastemade. If you’re already familiar with the network, you’ll now be able to sign-in with your existing account and watch on the big screen. For those who don’t know, Tastemade is a US-based streaming network that focuses on food and travel.

Targeted at Millennials, those born between 1981 and 1996, the streaming network promises hours of mouth-watering and informative shows, including Raw. Vegan. Not Gross, Tiny Kitchen, and The Perennial Plate – a documentary series about sustainable food practices that won the James Beard Award for a Video Webcast in the New Media category.

As well as its on-demand shows, Tastemade also hosts a 24/7 live channel showcasing different recipes that you can dip into at any time. So, if you’re stuck for inspiration when it comes spicing up your January meal plan, opening up the app on your Sky Q box could be the answer.

The network has enjoyed a number of successes in recent years, becoming the third most-watched channel on Facebook globally in 2016. It has also partnered with Snapchat to produce content for its Discover original programming efforts.

And now, it has landed on Sky Q. Until now, those who wanted to tune in would have to use a Chromecast, Roku, or rely on the dedicated channel on the Apple TV set-top box. Arriving on Sky Q opens up a new option for those short on new content to binge.
