Argos customers are facing a frustrating morning with the retailer’s website currently down and not working. The gremlins appear to have hit the site at around 10:15 am with the issue still ongoing. When heading to the argos.co.uk, customers are seeing the message “Sorry about this. We’re just fixing something. Please bear with us. We’ll be back soon.”

Downdetector, which monitors outages across the world, is showing widespread reports about the Argos website going offline.

Customers wanting a bargain have now taken to social media to complain about the issues with one tweet saying, “@ArgosHelpers the one day I need Argos and the website is down!!

And another adding: “@MythCollects Argos website down since 10am could this mean they are loading new PS5 stock any ideas?”

It’s unclear what is causing the issues but a number of retailers faced similar issues last week when the PS5 went on sale. Currys was offline of a number of hours as gamers flocked to the site to try and a grab this next-gen console.

Another reason why Argos could be particularly busy right now is that the firm has just announced the launch of its early Black Friday deals which are available now.
