Showers ending this morning then a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Risk of thunderstorms early this morning. The high is 24 C and the low is 16 C.

Traffic alert

Riverside Drive between Lauzon Road and Riverdale Avenue will be closed for construction until December 2018.

The city said construction crews will be rebuilding the roadway with the intent of reducing driver speed and volume, while increasing safety along the scenic drive though the installation of curbs and gutters, on-road bike lanes and sidewalks, and roadway realignment.

That closure begins Monday, June 18.

Ambassador Bridge: No delays reported.

Windsor-Detroit Tunnel: No delays reported.

Blue Water Bridge: No delays reported.


Gas is selling from $1.21 to $1.30 in Windsor-Essex.

The Dollar

The Canadian dollar closed at 75.25 cents U.S. The market opens at 9:30 a.m.
