Peter Crouch has been spotted getting down in the mosh pit at Isle of Wight Festival.

The 37-year-old Stoke City striker could be seen jumping around like a teenager as he sang along to his favourite band Kasabian.

Surrounded by revellers, Crouch – famous for his robot dance goal celebration – kept his hood up as he tried to go unnoticed.

But the 6 ft 7 in star towered above everyone else as he joined in with the head banging to the band’s hit Empire.

Fans rushed to Twitter to share hilarious videos of Crouch in the mosh pit.

He was enjoying Kasabian

The footballer really got into it

“My little sister posted this to Facebook earlier: ‘Just my luck to be stuck behind someone the size of Peter Crouch at a gig.’ Turned out it actually was Peter Crouch,” one fan tweeted.

“Have I just seen Peter Crouch in the crowd at IOW festival during Kasabian? Heroic man,” another added.

And the Kasabian lads even gave their celebrity fan a shout-out from the stage.

“Crouchy, get down lower, I can see ya!” Serge shouted.

The dad of three has a knack for going viral.

Back in April while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were overjoyed with the birth of their third child, he had the perfect joke.

There was no stopping him

The sometimes ungainly striker is known for his height and quickly found something to quip about in the iconic snap.

There they are, waving high into the air as supporters were seen waving Union Jacks flags and joined in an atmosphere of celebration.

And Crouch – all 6ft 7inches of him – had this great comeback.

His whimsical musings didn’t go unnoticed with over 186,000 likes.
