TV insiders have said islanders’ ex boyfriends and girlfriends are lining up to enter the Love Island villa in the coming weeks.

There may be some massive bombshells dropping in Majorca as former lovers may turn up to Casa Amor to stir up some trouble.

Insiders told The Sun : “Bosses know everything about the stars that are on the show and they’re open about their relationship history.

“There have been messy break-ups and some of the exes have got axes to grind, so sometimes they get in touch with bosses.

“For the past few weeks there have been lots of discussions whose exes would make good TV and who would make the most impact. They are being lined up and talked up.

Another source said: “Nothing has been decided but it is something that has been on the table for a while and could happen later in this series.

“It’s happened before on the show so there’s nothing to say it wouldn’t happen again.”

Josh Denzel and ex Nena

Some of the islanders seem to have rather interesting skeletons in their closet, so there would certainly be fireworks if the exes turned up.

Some include Josh Denzel’s former lover of seven years, Nena, who bears a striking resemblance to Josh’s current squeeze, Georgia Steele.

Dumped islander Kendall Rae Knight spoke openly about her former fiancé, saying he wanted to hang out with his mates rather than her before kicking her to the kerb.

And Laura Anderson’s ex is nineties popstar Dane Bowers – so that could certainly be an interesting turn up for the books if he were to join.

Adam Collard’s ex, Claudia Proctor, liked a string of tweets about some of the islanders being “dogs,” so could also be an interesting addition to the group.
